Here's the honest truth, people: if you don't have sales, you
don't have a business. I know, you might be a yoga teacher or
healer who works in a studio setting and you might be thinking,
"Well, I don't have to sell anything because I'm not a business
owner yet.“
Guess what? If
you ever decide to lead a retreat, you need to know how to sell. If
you ever want to work with someone one on one, you need to know how
to sell. If you ever want to lead a workshop at the studio where
you work, you need to know how to sell.
On today’s episode of the Ancient Wisdom For The Modern Wellness
Professional podcast I’m giving you a behind the scenes look at how
I prepare for a sales consultation.
If you are still thinking sales are icky, we're going to turn
that notion right on its head. Here's why: SELLING IS
LISTENING.
It's finding out if someone actually has a problem which you
are equipped to help them solve. It’s discovering if they are
really ready to do the work, because if they're not, even the best
yoga teacher or healer in the world could not help them. If you
can't start looking at sales mindfully and from a place of
integrity, it's going to be unnecessarily difficult for you to get
where you want to go in your career.
Today we're going to focus specifically on how to prepare for a
sales conversation with a potential client from a place of
awareness, integrity, and excitement.
When I say sales is listening, do not take that lightly. I’m
passionate about this topic and very happy to say this is the first
episode in an entire SALES SERIES coming your way!
